ClickOnce deployment allows you to create a package that can be installed from a Web site that installs the application on the client. This could also be done in earlier versions of VS. What makes ClickOnce special is it allows you, as the developer, to set the package to look for updates. When the user of the application executes the application the next time, the package will recognize there s an update and ask the user to install it.
